Dr. Salim bin Mohamed Abu Al-Nasr Al-Yafi
He was born in Marjayoun (Lebanon) in 1919. He studied law at Damascus University and graduated from it.
He joined the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1944 AD. He was appointed as a consul in the Syrian embassy in Egypt 1945, Turkey 1947, Saudi Arabia 1954, Switzerland, and France, then the Syrian ambassador to Belgium, where he stayed for three years.

From 1962 to 1963 he worked in the Khumasiah Textile Company in Syria.
In 1969 he was appointed to the position of Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States in Cairo and remained in his position until he resigned in 1978.
