Al-Qaim Maqam Rushdi bin Farid Pasha bin Al-Sayyid Saad Al-Din Al-Yafi

He was born in Damascus in 1297 AH.
He studied in Istanbul and married Mrs. Fahimeh (Turkish national), then married his cousin, Mrs. Jihan Al Yafi.
He served in the Ottoman army and was appointed as Qaim Maqam (District Director) in the Zuwayh district of Hauran, southern Syria.
His children are; Anwar (1916-1984), Waheed (1926), Niazi, Fatima Sabri, and Fathiya.
He died in Damascus in 1926 AD and was buried in the Muhajireen neighborhood.
