Ghaleb bin Mustafa bin Muhammad Abu Al-Nasr Al Yafi
He was born in 1889 in Tripoli, the Levant, and immigrated to the United States in 1908 to study chemistry at Boston University.
Then he returned to Lebanon for a short period, then moved to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, joining his brother Musaed, where Mr. Ghaleb was appointed financial controller for the King of Hejaz, Sharif Hussein bin Ali.
After that stage, he moved to India where he worked in the trade of precious stones and met the lawyer Muhammad Ali Jinnah and a friendship developed between them
as Mr. Ghalib supported his friend in support of the secession movement from India and the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its independence from India.
After that, Mr. Ghaleb moved to Egypt in 1943, where he participated in the establishment of the Arab Cultural Club, which was the nucleus for the establishment of the Arab League.
In 1950 he returned to Lebanon and died there in 1957.
