In the name of God, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
With the journey of twenty two years since the establishment of the Al Yafi family website, it is our pleasure to introduce the third edition of our website that has been developed and enriched with new documents and information after intensive research and investigation all in line with the website’s policy that is committed to honesty and scientific secretariat. Also, I must mention the encouraging role of many family youths who are scattered all around the world and are keen to learn more about their family history and heritage and even more to connect with members of the family.

There is no doubt that the professionalism of the website, including the documentation of its data in a scientific manner, has made it a reference approved by many researchers who are interested in Arab family heritage and the biography of the notable figures in our region. This appeared in many international resources, websites and published books. The latest of which was the book about the Damascene Families and notables by Dr. Mohamed Sharif Al Sawaf and the Syrian Modern History web site managed by Dr. Sulaiman Abdulnabi.
In conclusion, I would like to renew my invitation to all those interested to contribute to the process of developing this website on an ongoing basis, by expressing opinion, advice, and providing us with information, documents, and photos. All this contribution will help preserve our strong ties of kinship is for the sake of Allah.
